There was a full complement of League games with Hullbridge Sports beating Sporting Bengal United 4-3 with two well known names significant, for Sports, Nathan Scarborough now at Stansted with a hat-trick and for Sporting Bengal, Steven Carvell, still playing in the ESL.

Lowest gate was 9 with Southend Manor winning 3- 2 at Leyton Athletic. How times change with fans able to see Enfield lose 1-3 to Woodford Town, Sawbridgeworth beat Redbridge 3-1, St Margaretsbury beating Stanway Rovers 2-1, Stansted losing 1-2 to Hoddesdon Town Walthamstow winning 2-0 at Tower Hamlets and West Essex losing 2-3 to Clapton. In fact, of the twenty clubs only seven remain with us!

A thirteen club Reserve division found Barkingside top, Tiptree Jobserve third, Harlow Town ninth and Waltham Abbey tenth.

The Eastern Senior League were also covered with White Ensign top ahead of Halstead Town, Hashtag United, Harwich & Parkeston, Frenford Hackney Wick, Benfleet, Little Oakley and Lopes Tavares (now Athletic Newham),so, just like our Premier Division, how times have changed!
