National Digital Inclusion Network

Connecting our community – on the pitch and online

Support Available Through Our Hub

As a hub within the National Digital Inclusion Network, the Essex Senior Football League provides a range of support to help our community get online, build confidence with technology, and stay connected.

Did you know that 10.2 million people lack basic digital skills.
Our hub can provide:

- Free SIM cards with data to help people get online or remain connected

- Support with basic digital skills, such as using smartphones, email, and online services

- Friendly guidance and signposting to trusted online resources and support services

- Opportunities to participate in grassroots football and community sport

- Volunteer opportunities for those who want to give back and support others

- A welcoming community space where people can connect, learn, and build confidence

By combining the power of football with digital support, our hub helps ensure more people in our community have the access, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

The Hub has access to resources to help break through the digital divide ... digital activity is everywhere from shopping, to banking and health ... Banking Apps, NHS App

There are useful tools that can be shared and explored together.

Speak Out, Stay Safe! Safeguarding isn’t always the easiest topic to talk about in football, but it’s one of the most important. Not only is it a legal requirement but actually it’s a moral one too!
