Benfleet FC Land Punjab United in FA Vase Fourth Round After Historic Win

Benfleet Football Club of the Essex Senior Football League has continued its historic FA Vase run, drawing Punjab United at home in the Fourth Round Proper after a superb victory over Dereham Town.
The "Swampers" secured their spot in the last 32 of the competition with a fantastic 2-0 away win against Dereham Town on Saturday, December 6th. Goals from Mason Shave and Sonny Hartman broke the club record for the furthest they have ever advanced in the FA Vase.
The reward for their stellar performance is a home tie against Kent-based side Punjab United, a club also making an impressive run in the competition. The Fourth Round tie is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026. Chairman Dan Wright expressed his pride, stating the win was thoroughly deserved. This draw guarantees a thrilling non-league clash at Woodside Stadium as Benfleet attempts to reach the Fifth Round.
